Reduced voltage controllers are used to reduce the magnitude of line current drawn at starting or to reduce the starting torque of the motor applied to the drive load or both. Reduced voltage controller lower the starting current and torque by means of an auto-transformer. Complete Prototype was developed and interfaced with IIOT gateway.
